Gun Control and Our Constitutional Rights, Once Politicians Get Their Foot In the Door...It is the Beginning of the End of Our Rights
My deepest sympathy goes out to the families in Colorado. The killer was an idiot, but if we didn't have guns he would have found another way to do what he did. He was evil and had his mind made up already. I am not afraid to call evil what it is and history shows they will do what they do with whatever tool they can find.
Oh, this is rich. After using the damned owl to decimate logging and virtually kill the industry it turns out "logging, thinning, or other fuel reduction activities in areas with high fire risk would be more than offset by improved forest health and fire-resistance characteristics, the scientists said, which allow more spotted owl habitat to survive in later decades
This is a great article. It's a little long, but I felt that it should be posted in it's entirety. Please read it.

A Psychiatrist Examines The Anti-Gun Mentality

"You don't need to have a gun; the police will protect you."
"If people carry guns, there will be murders over parking spaces and neighborhood basketball games."
... Most Americans don’t care about whether Attorney General Eric Holder is hiding Fast and Furious documents because they don’t understand the story. It put guns in their hands to strengthen liberals’ argument for gun control… This is such a jaw-dropping accusation, Republicans refuse to make it, says Ann Coulter in this article at her blog, anncoulter.com…
When it comes to being prepared, the following are some essentials you should not overlook.
- Keep your vehicles gas tanks full. When your gauge shows 3/4 full make sure you fill up again at that point. A full tank of gas has essential uses.
- Keep at least 10, 5 gallon gas containers full, in a cool dry garage location and use stabil to increase their storage life.
Shock revelation: City of Aurora, Colorado would have ARRESTED anyone who STOPPED the Batman massacre with a concealed weapon

(NaturalNews) Two days ago I asked the commonsense question, "Why didn't anyone fight back against James Holmes, the shooter who shot so many people in the Batman movie theater?" See that article here: http://www.naturalnews.com/036537_James_Holmes_Batman_shooting.html
Now the answer has become clear: Because Aurora, Colorado already has strict gun control laws on the books that make it:
Note: "If you think Obama, think again for this was Hitler. See the parallels? I saw them clearly arise in Bush #41, Clinton #42 and Bush #43, but with Obama #44 there is a definite match. We are in the ENDGAME. Is it too late? Should STHF can we expect outside rescue per se since UN |NATO would side with the US de facto dictatorship in a similar FINAL SOLUTION.
This week, President Obama proposed a new $1 billion federal program that would establish a “Master Teacher Corps” in 100 locations across the country.
This is not the first time the Administration has proposed subsidizing teacher salaries, but it is the first proposal that would give federal-issued paychecks directly to local teachers.
The middle class in America is being systematically wiped out, and most people don’t even realize what is happening. Every single year, millions more Americans fall out of the middle class and become dependent on the government. The United States once had the largest and most vibrant middle class in the history of the world, but now the middle class is rapidly shrinking and government dependence is at an all-time high.
You knew it would be coming...
With the Aurora Colorado shooting a fresh wound on our national psyche, the stampede of politicians who want to appear to do something to avert a future event from occurring is beginning.
Already Democrats like Sen. Frank Lautenberg are rushing forward with bills no doubt already crafted for such an occasion:
“Let's stop wasting time and start saving lives,” Lautenberg, D-N.J.
'Debts that cannot be paid will not be paid.'
The average American works 7 months a year before being allowed to keep any of the money they work for. But that figure is deceptive. The occupation government gives orders to shut down coal fired generation plants because they emit carbon dioxide. Then they give exemptions to plants owned by or doing business with General Electric.

Pixar Animation Studios averages making more money per film than any other film studio. Perhaps the reason is people recognize and are attracted to powerful truths slightly veiled in allegories; as in this six-minute video.
A Bug’s Life (1998) is about two societies: one numerous slave society of ants and a small psychopath-led parasitic society of grasshoppers.
Every free man and free woman must answer in their own time.
First, an article from Dina from the UK Daily Mail.
Dr Paul Ramchandani, who led the Oxford University study, said behavioural problems in early childhood often lead to health and psychological problems in adulthood which can be difficult to overcome.
But he said most research on how parents affect a baby’s behaviour and development has focused on mothers, when fathers also play an important role.

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”
Those were Abe Lincoln’s words in his first inaugural in 1861, as America was running headlong into civil war. Now we’re a house divided again and another civil war is coming, with the 2012 election as its Gettysburg.
Call it America’s coming civil war between the Makers and the Takers. Read more…

If you thought the bizarre power trip behavior of the TSA couldn’t get any crazier – think again. According to a friend of political commentator Lew Rockwell, the federal agency is now ordering travelers passing through security to “freeze” on command.
We can only be kept in the cages we do not see.

How much did you borrow to build your own cage?

My entry citing Fresno and VDH's article created a quick rut of emails. In about two and a half hours I got close to twenty emails with the majority of them being "It'll never happen in my AO", "My crime rate is negligible", "I'm not worried about it Obama/Romney/Insert Name here won't let it get that bad". Well Amigos if you think like that it's time you woke up (hell you should have woken up about ten years ago).

Most people go to work every morning for the most part to earn a paycheck in order to buy the things they need. Some people are better at this than others and the expensive homes and cars they drive attest to that but do these people have critical skills that justify the pay they earn?
This past weekend, I spent an afternoon at the farm, just sitting on the deck and catching up with the neighbours that pulled in for a visit. The deck is one of my favourite places in the world; from the deck, we look over farm fields as far as the eye can see and the local highway (perfect for keeping track of the neighbours).

June 2012 - and especially its last week - was ripe with ominous metaphor, all revolving around the Supreme Court's decision on June 28th to uphold President Barack Obama's signature health-care reform legislation, the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.
For those not in the know, the highest court in the land - the historic mission of which was to guard against tyranny by ensuring that laws passed by Congress abide by the constraints imposed by our Constitution - has now rubber-stamped the most comprehensive expansion of federal power since the New Deal.
Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority, reverent of individual liberty” deemed domestic threat

A new study funded by the Department of Homeland Security characterizes Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority,” and “reverent of individual liberty” as “extreme right-wing” terrorists.

However, good people who DO have guns may be able to stay alive longer if they are attacked by bad people with guns.
Like this nice store manager who was able to protect himself from robbers.
Like this lady who got tired of a guy breaking into her house and finally stopped him.
Like this guy who was able to protect his house from three bad guys who broke into it.

Why won't the Obama administration reveal how many Americans' emails the NSA has collected and reviewed without a warrant?
Since last year, a few members of Congress—led by Senator Ron Wyden—have been trying to get the Obama administration to answer a simple question: how many Americans’ phone calls or emails have been and are being collected and read without a warrant under the authority of the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 (FAA)?
China is recasting large gold bars into smaller kilogram (2.2 pound) size bars in preparation for a world trade system in which dollars are either near worthless or refused as legal tender outside the United States. This recasting program began before the Chinese representatives agreed at the Bilderberg 2012 meeting to allow America to default on its debt by devaluing the dollar.
…If America wants to overturn current legal norms America needs to elect different politicians. But with a greater and greater welfare-bound population, it seems inevitable that more and more Americans will vote themselves greater and greater quantities of free stuff…

More corruption at the U.S. Transportation Security Administration has led to the federal conviction of a TSA training supervisor, the voluntary resignation of three TSA workers, and the firing of seven other TSA workers at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) in Pennsylvania. This major house-cleaning at the TSA comes after a seven-month investigation uncovered a huge bribery scandal in which TSA workers were paying off the training supervisor to obtain passing grades on their annual proficiency exams.

We are all preppers here, we are all in one way or another trying to ready ourselves for “whatever may come”. We have food, we have supplies, first aid, and water, and we have studied, planned and prepared ourselves. But are we really ready?
Are we ready to REALLY deal with real life if everything goes south? What do I mean by “dealing” with it?

IT knows who you are. It knows where you live. It knows what you do.
It peers deeper into American life than the F.B.I. or the I.R.S., or those prying digital eyes at Facebook and Google. If you are an American adult, the odds are that it knows things like your age, race, sex, weight, height, marital status, education level, politics, buying habits, household health worries, vacation dreams — and on and on.
