The carnival with the Justice Department and House Congressional committee continue to disagree, in settling a lawsuit over congressional efforts to obtain records related to Operation Fast and Furious, a gun trafficking operation that was the brainstorm of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, under the direction of the U.S. Justice Department and the U.S. Attorney General, William Holder. The Justice Department, put it to the House Committee, that the settlement, will not be coming, period, case closed, and they don’t give a damn. The attorney general is not serious about settlement.
President Barack Obama has invoked Executive Privilege, and Attorney General Eric Holder, has been found in Contempt of Congress, for refusing to turn over records, after initially denying to Congress, that federal agents had used a very controversial tactic called “Gun Walking”, in the failed law enforcement operation that lead to the killing of a United States Border Patrolman, that was gunned down by a weapon deliberately placed into criminal hands with the consent of the U.S. Justice Department. Me, or you, and they would have locked us up and thrown away the key, long ago.
The apparent stance of the Justice Department is one seemingly that they do not recognize the legitimacy of Congress or the Rule of Law. The matter will be going before a Court, to mediate, but then why does the Justice Department try to avoid the law makers and this question also applies to the National Security Letters, where an appeal will be filed in the trolling for data on regular law abiding citizens? Sounds more like the Justice Department has gone rogue, so hopefully there will be some reasonable explanation for their conduct of late.
Holder told ABC News, that the contempt vote did not bother him. “But I have to tell you that for me to really be affected by what happened, I’d have to have respect for the people, who voted in that way”, Holder said in the interview last month.
The committee wrote that, “recent public statements by the Attorney General, also suggest that he is not interested in compromise”. That is how criminals speak. I do not understand this type of authoritarian arrogance, even if it is Congress, that has been feverishly working against the United States Constitution and against the People, for quite some time now.
Operation Fast & Furious ran out of the Phoenix, Arizona, area. Gun shops were targeted by federal law enforcement agencies in a botched Keystone Kops Kaper, that steered the sale of somewhere around 1,400 firearms, and let them be placed directly into the hands of Mexican drug cartels, ultimately resulting in the MURDER of United States Border Patrolman Brian Terry. The incident remains unanswered by the U.S. Justice Department, and has people pointing fingers of blame to everybody else in one big Circle Jerk, and the main player seems to be King Barack Hussein. I have thoughts that maybe he was covertly arming his friends and financial supporters south of the U.S. border.
It remains my opinion that, Holder and Obama, both support cop killers and may be by their actions complicit in the MURDER of the U.S. Border Patrolman. Illegal gun means Criminal Charges are upped into the maximum of FIRST DEGREE MURDER WITH INTENT. I am not pleased with any of this. My patience has been worn thin already with the contempt and continued refusal to cooperate with the investigation by Holder.
If Holder is not cooperating, then he must be dirty.
