After lots of thought and reflection I have bravely decided to support common sense laws.
There is no wondering why most Americans believe Congress is doing a bad job and its approval rating has bottomed to a dreadful 13 percent.
The Senate on Monday predictably rejected four partisan gun measures offered in the wake of the Orlando massacre, including proposals to keep guns out of the hands of people on terror watch lists. Lawmakers blocked these bills despite polling that shows 55 percent of Americans support stricter gun laws, 85 percent favor preventing people who are on the U.S. government’s terrorist watch list or no-fly list from owning guns and 92 percent favor expanding background checks on gun buyers.
