    It is a misconception as to what Jesus did in the temple. He was not dealing with hardened unrepentant murderers. He was dealing with thieves. He cast them out, not, whipping them out. .

      It is no misconception at ll, artiwhitefox, the saviour braided that whip himself, a talent the picts, Galations, Galileans and modern sons of Alba were famous for. Do you really think the saviour wasted time braiding a whip when he was just going to turn over tables? Why did the saviour tell his disciples to buy a sword-selling their coats to do so.?
      Why did the saviour reveal that when he returned it would not be for peace. And one question I love to ask: Why do Christians point out ” misconceptions” of others when they should know, as any first year Latin student, that JESUS, ( pronounced in Latin, HEY SOOS)was not the saviour’s name? Aaaaand, IESOES REX IDUMEA does not render “HERE IS JESUS KING OF THE JEWS. It renders IESEUS ( Yosheus) king of Edom. Can you see that?
