Another foreign policy coup for the crack diplomatic team we have here in the U.S. Way to go ‘Bama, Kerry, Clinton. We are so glad to have you on our side. It would be funny were it not sad, pathetic and inept.
…. Before anyone suggests that all Russia is focusing on is China at any and all costs, consider that as we have been saying since 2012, perhaps just as important to Russia and China strategically is Iran which has already lashed out against the Petrodollar on numerous occasions in the past, not only for its vast oil reserves, but for its even more strategic location in the heart of the Persian Gulf.
To be sure, the Eurasian crescent of Russia and China would be made all that much stronger if the two nations had a toehold on the Straits of Hormuz, and were able to shut traffic – either tanker or military, with the US Fifth Fleet located in Bahrain – into the Gulf at their bidding. Which is why it was not surprising that not even 24 hours after Russia and China announced the “holy grail” energy deal, that RIA reported Russia is already preparing to lock in the Tehran regime with a deal to build not one but 8 ! more nuclear power plants in the country… go here
I echo STLloyd’s comments on this, i.e. “You all know how I feel about Alex Jones, take anything he says with a grain of salt because he sensationalizes to the hilt, however, he also is often the “first on the spot” when something is going on that our government isn’t telling us about. The threat this country is under right now is very real. That much is for certain. ” GE.
“Who would have thought that it would fall to us, some of us in our so-called declining years (unless 60 is the new 40) to rescue the Republic? In our lifetimes, we have had the war in Vietnam, and the Reagan revival, and now we find the left has been tunneling under us all along. Last Tuesday, the platform we thought was solid collapsed as if its underpinnings had been eaten by termites, which they had.” — Greg Richards via The American Thinker
It didn’t take long, did it? The next four years of misrule by Hussein Obama have yet to begin and already Israel is under attack, unions have killed off the once indestructible Twinkie, and tens of thousands of American workers who miraculously still hold jobs are facing cutbacks and layoffs due to the looming implementation of Obamacare. Forward!
GE Note: I have it from a very, very close & reliable source that this accident was mentioned on local Ocean County / Lacey Township NJ OEM and police dispatch radio frequencies, but that it was kept very quiet… Ocean County OEM, Sheriff and local municipalities were deliberately NOT putting it over the radios, but were instead instructing each other to call on cells phones and land lines.
… On October 29, 2012, Oyster Creek declared a Notice of Unusual Event followed by an Alert due to high water levels in the intake structure. Elevated intake structure water levels are of concern as excessive levels can flood certain plant components and render normal cooling systems inoperable. No safety systems were adversely affected by the high intake level. The site also experienced a loss of offsite power. Both emergency diesel generators started as designed and supplied power to the emergency electrical busses. Shutdown cooling and spent fuel pool cooling were temporarily lost but subsequently restored, after the busses were reenergized. At 9:59 a.m. EDT on October 30, the licensee restored one line of off-site power via a start-up transformer. Oyster Creek terminated the Alert at 3:52 a.m. EDT on October 31 when water level dropped below 4.5 ft and off-site power was fully restored…via NRC
Two days ago Obama held a press conference in which he openly prevaricated and disinformed the world about the true nature of his meeting with Israel PM Netanyahu. Today we find what was truly discussed, courtesy of Israel’s Maariv newspaper, Spiegel and Reuters, which all tell us that it was a simple case of quid pro quo, namely that Barack Obama would supply Israel with bunker-busters and refueling planes if Bibi promised to delay an Iran attack until after the presidential election. The implication is simple – avoid an oil price shock this summer and delay it until next winter when Obama will be safely in his throne for another 4 years, at which point US citizens can fuel their cars with combustible urine following nights of binging on Everclear in hopes of ending their sorrows with alcohol poisoning, or better yet, all be in possession of the heavily subsidized flaming half ton block of metal known as the Obama Pinto, er, Volt.
“… In one sense this latest war is, if not right, at least understandable. A fight is clearly brewing and the US wants to both protect an ally and keep the oil flowing. But in another sense it’s absurd. Multiple simultaneous wars are for solvent superpowers with sound currencies and flexible finances, and the US no longer qualifies. Our military is overextended and exhausted and this year Washington will borrow its defense budget from China, add another trillion to the official national debt and maybe three trillion to unfunded liabilities and other off-balance-sheet but very real obligations…” via DollarCollapse.com.
Israel will launch military action to prevent Iran developing a nuclear weapon as soon as Christmas, intelligence chiefs have warned.A report by a UN watchdog into Iran’s nuclear ambitions ‘completely discredits’ the Islamic nation’s protestations of innocence, according to Foreign Secretary William Hague. The International Atomic Energy Agency found that Iran is developing a nuclear test facility, nuclear detonators and computer modelling for a nuclear warhead that would fit on an existing missile.
Sources say the understanding at the top of the British Government is that Israel will attempt to strike against the nuclear sites ‘sooner rather than later’ – with logistical support from the U.S.A senior Foreign Office figure has revealed that ministers have been told to expect Israeli military action, adding: ‘We’re expecting something as early as Christmas, or very early in the new year.’Officials believe President Barack Obama would have to support the Israelis or risk losing vital Jewish-American support in the next presidential election.
And so after ten days after feverish, unattributed Israeli news reporting on an imminent attack, the administration has drawn certain lines: Israel should go forward with its plans to strike Iran, while Washington will stress “diplomatic strategy…This phrase, new in official US language on the nuclear controversy with Iran, does not rule out the military option…
