NJ: Michael Knight, 37, charged in brutal Rutgers-New Brunswick assault on female student surrenders
… Michael P. Knight of Newark has surrendered to police and been charged in a brutal attack of a college student has surrendered. Knight turned himself in on Friday night to face charges in the attack on Rutgers University’s New Brunswick campus this month. Authorities say he struck the woman on the head, severely beat her and was attempting to sexually assault her when a group intervened around 3:30 a.m. on May 4. Knight was described as being 6-feet, 2-inches, with shoulder-length dreadlocks and several tattoos. including a large “D” on his neck.
The incident was reported to have occurred in the area of Van Dyke Hall on the College Avenue campus in New Brunswick, according to police . Knight followed the woman as she walked on the College Avenue campus on Wednesday, May 4 at 3:30 a.m. He attacked her in the area of Van Dyke Hall, near College Avenue and Seminary Place … He struck her in the face, severely beat her, dragged her to the side of a building and was attempting to sexually assault her when a group of individuals intervened, prosecutors said. She had screamed out for help when she was first attacked, which alerted nearby witnesses. Knight fled on foot when the group intervened, running off towards Seminary Place. But as he ran, he said he had a gun and threatened to shoot one of the men who attempted to chase him.
He has been charged with aggravated assault, attempted aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping and other charges. Knight was being held on $1 million bail and it wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer to comment on the charges. The woman was treated and released from a hospital. (CBSNewYork) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation is setting up shared responsibility committees in New Jersey to help stop home-grown terrorism.WCBS 880’s Mike Smeltz reported this partnership between communities and the FBI looks to use identification and mental health counseling as tools to those who might head down a path of extremism. The committees would include community leaders, clergy members and mental health professionals whose goal would be to identify those who might support terrorist activities and stopping it before ideas turn into plans.This would be someone who’s expressed support for a terrorist group, either in a community meeting or online.The Record reported that some in the Muslim community in New Jersey are worried that this program will effectively turn community members into government informants.The FBI said this initiative is about heading off extremism before law enforcement gets involved. NJ: Police shoot, kill Father-of-the-Year in New Brunswick
Diahlo Grant, reportedly armed, was shot and killed by Franklin Township police at 1:30AM after they reportedly confronted him over outstanding warrants for violation of probation and failure to pay child support. You will have to wade through the agit-prop in the actual “report” video at CBS to get to that fact though, as they are to busy painting the guy as father of the year.
Dialho Grant, of Somerset, was pursued by two Franklin Township police officers after an encounter on Somerset and Home Streets, officials said. The officers followed Grant across the town border into New Brunswick where an exchange of gunfire occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m., according to police. Grant was wounded in the exchange and one of the police officers involved provided cardio-pulmonary resuscitation while waiting for emergency medial personnel to arrive at the scene. Mr. Father-of-the-Year leaves behind 5 (soon to be 6) kids, and an indeterminate number of baby mommas, because he was out wandering the streets, illegally armed, at 1:30AM on a Saturday night. All the family men I know were home at time watching over their kids.

Police have identified a man they believe is responsible for slashing a 68-year-old woman’s throat in Brooklyn. Investigators are looking for Gregory Alfred, 25. The NYPD released a booking photo of him from last year.

Spokane NAACP president Rachel Dolezal, a professor of Africana Studies at Eastern Washington University, was outed earlier this week by her parents as being white.
In what has to be one of the more bizarre news stories of 2015, Dolezal pretended for years to be black. Social media accounts posted pictures of a black man who she said was her father (he’s not). She regularly wrote about her black son Izaiah (he’s actually her adopted brother).
It also appears as though she repeatedly lied about being the victim of race-based hate crimes. She claims to have been the victim of at least nine separate hate crimes.
As you might expect, this story has gotten a lot of attention, namely because Dolezal isn’t black. She’s white. Very white. …

Despite budget squeezes, universities have created diversity positions, such as vice chancellor for equity, diversity and inclusion; director of diversity and inclusion; manager of diversity recruitment; associate dean for diversity; and vice president of diversity. Some diversity chiefs — such as the vice chancellors of diversity at the University of California campuses in San Diego and San Francisco — have annual salaries that top $250,000. That doesn’t include the millions of dollars spent staffing and equipping diversity offices…
The academic vision of diversity calls for the celebration of people based upon their race, religion, genitalia and sexual behavior. And the last thing academic diversity means is diversity in thought, opinions and political affiliation. Taxpayers and irresponsible donors foot the bill for this deviancy.
Intellectuals argue that diversity is necessary for academic excellence, but what’s their evidence other than plausibility? Here’s what they need to explain. Japan is a nation bereft of diversity in anything. Close to 99 percent of its population is of one race. Whose students do you think have higher academic achievement — theirs or ours, who are diversity-rich? According to the 2009 Program for International Student Assessment, the academic performance of U.S. high-school students in reading, math and science pales in comparison with their diversity-starved counterparts in Japan…”

As I write America waits, again, to see whether blacks will riot, this time in Ferguson. Will they loot, burn, kill, and rape? The usual? The police in Ferguson prepare to protect stores from looters, as rioters seem to regard their insurrections as shopping opportunities. Will it come, we wonder tensely? Will the destruction get out of hand, spread to other cities?
It is curious that blacks, the least educated thirteen percent of the population, the least productive, most criminal, and most dependent on governmental charity, should dominate national politics. Yet they do. Virtually everything revolves around what blacks want, demand, do, or can’t do. Their power seems without limit.
Courses of instruction in the schools, academic rigor, codes of dress, rules regarding unceasing obscenity, all must be set to suit them, as must be examinations for promotion in fire departments, the military, and police forces. Blacks must be admitted to universities for which they are not remotely qualified, where departments of Black Studies must be established to please them. Corporate work forces, federal departments, and elite high-schools must be judged not on whether they perform their functions but on whether they have the right number of blacks. Continue reading

The news from Sweden’s election yesterday would indicate that Sweden has just stepped-up the pace in the all important race over the cliff for western civilization. Or has it?
The Wall Street Journal reports that the Swedish Left wing has pushed out the Center right with Leftists angry that their welfare state is eroding. They worry that health care isn’t as good nor is education as it used to be, but this article laughably makes no DIRECT link to the enormous influx of Muslim third-worlders Sweden has “welcomed” and the decline in the ability of the social safety net to hold them all. Meanwhile, down in Atlanta: “Her sons were 12 and 8 when Marlyn Tillman realized it was time for her to have the talk,” Gracie Bonds Staples writes in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. There is a talk that nonblack Americans have with their kids, too. My own kids, now 19 and 16, have had it in bits and pieces as subtopics have arisen. If I were to assemble it into a single talk, it would look something like the following. * * * * * * * * * * * * *
(1) Among your fellow citizens are forty million who identify as black, and whom I shall refer to as black. The cumbersome (and MLK-noncompliant) term “African-American” seems to be in decline, thank goodness. “Colored” and “Negro” are archaisms. What you must call “the ‘N’ word” is used freely among blacks but is taboo to nonblacks. “There is a talk that nonblack Americans have with their kids, too.”
(2) American blacks are descended from West African populations, with some white and aboriginal-American admixture. The overall average of non-African admixture is 20-25 percent. The admixture distribution is nonlinear, though: “It seems that around 10 percent of the African American population is more than half European in ancestry.” (Same link.)
(3) Your own ancestry is mixed north-European and northeast-Asian, but blacks will take you to be white.
(4) The default principle in everyday personal encounters is, that as a fellow citizen, with the same rights and obligations as yourself, any individual black is entitled to the same courtesies you would extend to a nonblack citizen. That is basic good manners and good citizenship. In some unusual circumstances, however—e.g., paragraph (10h) below—this default principle should be overridden by considerations of personal safety. Here in Chicago, I regularly meet with a group of friends who call themselves “The Think Squad”; these are men and women who are prominent members of the black community in Hyde Park and the City’s south side. None of them supported Barack Obama’s presidential bid in 2008 but most begrudgingly voted for him because they freely admit race-pride was their motivating factor. These people knew Obama when he was a state senator and saw him do absolutely nothing for blacks in Chicago back then…and they similarly saw Obama do nothing for blacks (or any of his constituents in general) as a United States Senator. The Think Squad has always seen through Obama and continues to speak out about his failings. Expect them, and other blacks coast to coast, to become even more vocal about the “magical first black president” after he loses in November and the anger of “how much that punk wasted” really comes to a boil and people no longer feel intimidated or threatened when the Obamas have left the White House for Hawaii next January. That’s when people will REALLY let it all fly, once the Obamas are no longer even a vestigial presence in Chicago and people have no fear at all in talking about what a sham their marriage is and how the two of them benefitted from affirmative action and white guilt their entire lives.
